Bregenz, the capital of Vorarlberg, is located at the quadripoint of Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.Situated at the eastern shore of Lake Constance, Bregenz has Austrias most important harbour and is a considerable sports- and cultural centre.It is also world famous for its "Bregenz Festival", which takes place in the worlds largest open air theater every year.
The 2000 years old city, which is the most densely populated in Vorarlberg, can be viewed in a 360° panorama, from the 1.064m high "Pfänder" mountain. Ever since its opening in 2004, the Handballarena in Bregenz is known as the most modern handball hall in Austria.
With up to 4 playingfields at the same time, it offers perfect
practice conditions for both, the handballs young talents aswell as the
HLA-Team.
For major league games, the main field in the center is being
activated and the stands along the long sides are being pulled out, on
which 600 seats on each side, aswell as standing areas, offer enough
space for the fans.
In addition, the hall offers a weight- and fitness room and 2 large rooms for events.
